Just my opinion but I really think this puts the Cavs as clear favorites to win the East (assuming limited missed time for Shaq). Mo Williams, Lebron James and Shaq is a really solid 3 headed monster. Mo should get many more open threes this year because of Shaq's inside presence and great passing ability.

That and they gave up napkins to make this deal happen. Cavs post win total similar to last season but are way more dominant against Bos and Orlando then they have been in the past

I just read that Rockets are working on a deal to bring Amare and Barboso, for Tmac, Brooks and Landry.
YAO and Amare, twin tower action. We will see!

This doesn't do much for the Cavs. Well it slows them down even more than they already are. Shaq had a negative effect on the Suns and the same will happen with an even older Shaq going to cleveland. Now if cleveland had gotten Amare.............

If Garnett stays healthy, it will be Boston or Orlando in the finals. This move is horrible for the Cavs.

If the Cavs dont literally quit playing after Williams hit the halfcourt shot right before halftime of game 1 against Orlando, we arent having this talk. Cavs would have moved on to the finals and it would have been a dog fight.

Getting Shaq is not the answer for cleveland. Lebron wont like this cause he is a spotlight hound and so is the arrogant Shaq. The Cleveland Cavaliers just wont ever win the NBA title. Its a desperate trade to try and make Lebron happy. Now this year the cavs will lose cause Shaq will miss key fts down the stretch.

lol you guys are stupid...This makes Cleveland worse? wowwwww 90% of you guys shouldn't be gambling..Dwight is a bum period. can't even make a hook shot i mean god damn the dude is almost as tall as the rim and he couldn't make a 2 foot jumper for his life. Yao is 100 times better than dwight, lol i love when yao knocks down the sky hook from the top of the key like nothing. and for the record, this puts cleveland where it needs to be...I'll put my money on cleveland next year unless they meet up with kobe in the playoffs...

wow!!! that shows how much basketball you now. It does take practice and the sky hook isnt a easy shot. Look how many players perfected the sky hook at the end of their career.

Cleveland needs a downlow threat like Shaq. He doesnt have to score 30 pts, all he has to do is take the pressure off the perimeter..This will work and im not saying championship, im saying it brings problems for the east... hands down....more double teams are coming and the ones who can shoot better start makiin them.

Wow, I was waiting for some idiot to say "CAVS in 2010!!!" Great to see the Forum has great perspective on how Shaq is washed up. And still doesn't solve the fact that their guards are short and cant get their own shot. Shaq just ate up way too much cap space, and will hinder the Cavs from making anymore moves.

Everyone wants to use the easy button(Shaq) to win a Championship. He's done.
