Yeah - Lennon was overrated when it came to the actual music. He had a great message - there's no doubt about that - and I agree with it. As far as actual talent though? It's not even close.

Compare all the McCartney songs to the Lennon songs...it's almost laughable.

Speaking of which -- this is how horrible Lennon was...him and Yoko came out with this horrendous album that has NOTHING MUSICAL WHATSOEVER. I forget the name of the album but it's all farting noises and weird bird sounds. I'm not making this up.

It sucked so bad that they had to create "buzz" so they posed naked for the album cover 'cause they knew musically it was very weak.

Ok we agree to disagree bro. I have seen them 16 times and over 40 years making music makes them a legit contender for the greatest rock band ever. There best stuff IMO get played rarely on radio.

I think Lennon and McCartney are pioneers in rock music and the stones and beatles actually hung out quite a bit early on.

I know i listen to crazy metal, but i know good music when i hear it, and the stones are not good. Zeppelin is the backbone of all the bands these days. They are the greatest of all time. Jimmy page, Robert Plant, Bonham. I dont know the bassist, was never a big bass follower.

no worries, music is a matter of taste. Led Zeppelin are in my top 5 bands of all time. Plant arguably the greatest vocals ever. Pick up Exile on Main Street on day and listen to one of the greatest albums of all time!
