You don't ban guns, you reduce the numbers by eliminating manufacturing first. These gun manufacturers are irresponsible. They've littered every neighborhood with guns like drug dealers. Gun prices go up along with the cost of ammo and in time gun numbers will go down.

We must spend more money on mental illness. Most of these schools don't even have mental health practitioners that could possibly help these kids. Many of these kids end up graduating and are just as fukked up after they leave school. Mental health is the big problem but no one wants to pay for helping the mentally ill.

The real problem with kids now is that no one knows how to fight. Shooting is the easy way out. Kids use to fight, kick ass or get beat up, live to fight another day. It was a rare situation that anyone would even pull out a knife back in the day.

Start some sort of boxing class in middle schools that is mandatory. Kids will learn how to fight and won't be such easy beta targets growing up. Bullies will become fewer and fewer. There is only 1 solution for a sick fukk. Keep weapons far away from them. Reducing the amount of guns on the street will help but we also need better monitoring. Most people don't know but we have monitoring for explosives and certain chemicals. Why? because we don't want dumb fukks making chemical weapons. We need better monitoring of the mentally ill but also somehow monitor more weapons. Why not make gun purchases public record? How about a system where if 2 or more concerned citizens come forward that that person can't get a gun?

I agree. All you can do is turn all schools into state run facilities with security, gated entrances, metal detectors at all entrances, strict access. Treat it like a court house. Of course this will bankrupt some school districts but the costs will be added to tuition and local taxes. Don't want to pay? Your kid gets sent to that district where they don't have security. There's no other solution because anything else involves the 2nd Amendment and nothing is changing that.
