The Washington Wizards have agreed in principle to acquire Minnesota Timberwolves guards Randy Foye(notes) and Mike Miller(notes) for Etan Thomas(notes), Oleksiy Pecherov(notes) and Darius Songaila and the fifth pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, a league executive with knowledge of the deal told Yahoo! Sports.

The teams are still working out details but the deal is expected to be consummated.

Great trade for my Timberwolves! Getting rid of our midget shooting guard in Foye and Miller who underachieved last season for the #5 overall pick and others. Kahn is off to a great start, will be more fun watching the NBA draft on Thursday. If the Wizards stay healthy next season, they are a playoff team in my opinion.

i live in mn, after kg left it was hard to watch any basketball games. hopefully al jef will be healthy next year. this is a good trade for the timberwolves because foye and miller both sucks, both overated. cant wait to see how the new team will look like.

If the Wiz can talk Miller into shooting it will be good...he just absolutely refused to look for his offense this past year.
