Poor Ed ** Mahon died last night. He was teetering on the brink of losing his house for good and he recently won a lawsuit over a doctor screwing up his neck where it was broken. He will never see the settlement but all the bad choices in women he made with their kids not fathered by him will probably reap the harvest.I guess Ed was a soft touch and that's how he went bust.

Anyone here have the Best of Carson CD set?The one I want to see again that will probably never see the light of day was when Ed actually was drunk and got verbal with Johnny and you could see Johnny felt threatened. Was there such a segment?

Johnny has his sidekick with him once again. We bought a best of Tonight Show DVD a couple of years ago, maybe not quite that long. Good stuff, love the Carnac and Art Fern's Tea Time Movie. Rest in Peace, Ed, and re-assume your position in the chair to Johnny's right.

These late night shows would be watchable if they got rid of the guests. Just do the first two segments.
