Tough to tell right now who trade is better for. I say slight lean towards Spurs.

The only person I would miss would be Bowen - top notch defender. Thomas isn't anything - and Oberto only did decent because he was playing in that system. He won't do shit on the Nets. I like this trade for the Spurs. They get someone younger to galvanize their aging team.

what a dumb trade, those 3 guys make us much as jefferson almost so doesnt really help new jersey, plus it opens 2 spots for other free agents on the spurs

Jefferson was on the Milwaukee Bucks. Good trade for the Spurs, salary dump for the Bucks as Jefferson had 2 years left at $29.2 million.

Richard Jefferson is a good player. They traded away two old players and a very mediocre one.
Parker/Mason/Ginobili/Jefferson/Duncan
I like it.

I find it helps to at least know the teams involved if im going to bash a trade. Also the 3 useless guys are in the final year of their contract, while Jefferson has 2 years left. Doing about 30 seconds of research would help your argument as well.

rumor is that the Bucks will buy out Bowen's contract and he'll return the spurs
