#36Yea true i have been through this a lot. The confusing thing is at times i can pull away and stop and others for no reason whatsoever i go in and lose a big amount i won. The hard thing to cope with is when i lose the bigger amounts. Like, i can go in there and bet less and work it up some . But once i am high enough to switch over to just sportsbetting i still go in there for no reason.Comment -

#38Yes buit i need to find a way clutch . I need to find a way to get away from casinos. I will try disabling them . If i cannot find a way this will never end i will keep hurting myself emotionally over and over. I want to keep sportsbetting that is my strength. But it is all pointless if i cant stay out of the casino. I am like i said shocked and happy i won that $46500. I am trying to focus on that to keep from totally going down the hole of depression. About a week and a half ago i lost $7000 . Just there is $25000 + . The hardest thing now is i had a huge win last night on the Over in the hockey game watched the whole thing for nothing.Originally posted by Clutchut12Yup and its a never ending cycle, very rare anybody escapes it.Comment -

#39Interesting. The 3 questions to see if you have a problem lets seeOriginally posted by A4K
- Do you use more of the substance or engage in the behavior more often than in the past? - No about the same it was worse 2 years ago actually
- Do you have withdrawal symptoms when you don’t have the substance or engage in the behavior?
- Not really. Sometimes i am not even thinking about it but end up going on anyways . At times like last night i had no intentions of going back in there . I got where i wanted to be. Then ended up going in anyway.
- Have you ever lied to anyone about your use of the substance or extent of your behavior?-No my wife and family i have never hidden what the casino has done to me.

#44Quit using weasel words like "try" & "thinking about." Just fukkin' do it. As others said, self exclude from the casino. If the book doesn't allow that, drop the book. If you can't do that, charge back to that book...make them ban you. It sounds like you have a serious problem. Your emotions are involved and you are on the precipice of problem gambling, if you aren't already there. The only reason you haven't accepted that you have a problem, is because you have been winning. Wait until you start depositing 4 and 5 figures into the casino to win back that money. You are fortunate that you've only lost "winnings."Originally posted by captrobeyI am just devastated right now. So emotionally drained from doing the same thing over and over and over. Once again i lost all my big winnings in the casino . This time at Sportbet $18600 .
I don't know why i keep going in there i know it is rigged and when the thing starts going on its rigged bs run i know what it is doing but instead of stopping i get more mad and try getting it back. I won some big games sports betting too . I was planning to cash out at $15000 but then i went in casino and actually won some. Not like i was getting great hands as always a lot of luck.
Then i go in again this morning and once again i started betting low and next thing you know $2500 a hand trying to get it back. I lost like every hand maybe won 2 in the entire stretch .
I think i will stop for awhile this really emotionally drained me after getting it up there again. The good thing is at least this was free $$ the 8th deposit free at Sportbet. I get the next one too free but at this point i am so drained i think i need to just step away a couple weeks.
I did lucking cash out $46500 so far this year . Thank god i got that and did not blow that . But Jesus the money i lost that i could have cashed out. I lost $18600 now , $13000 , $7000 , $4500,$4500 , $3000 and god knows how many others i cannot even think of. And that is just THIS year .
I actually tried to get help before to try and see if someone can help me stay out of an obviously rigged casino. I guess i am looking for a way to keep out once i build it up from sportsbetting. They always tell me i am fine because i have not lost my home or my car to gambling. I swear that makes no sense but that is what they told me.
I know we talked in the forum before about this others that have the same problem i do. WHY - Why do we go in a casino that we know is rigged and will just take all our money . Why can't we stop even though we know what is happening in front of us. Because i cannot give myself a reason. Is it the rush? But i know it is rigged so what is the point. Is it because i just want to feel i win something significant in there just once ? I mean -if you lose insane amounts all the time like this in seconds shouldn't you be able to win once in awhile . But that never happens either. I have won smaller amounts but never have i won 20,000 ,$18600,$9000 etc like i have lost. I figure maybe if i can figure out why i keep going in there i can put a lasso around it and keep myself out.
But for now i am stopping a couple weeks i am too drained after this it has been one too many times this happened to me and i am just spent .Comment -

#45spot on, Al.Originally posted by Al MastersFirst thing to do is stop blaming
the casino for your problems.
The problem is not the online casino
The problem is YOU.
You have no control over your actions
so as you said take a few weeks off.
Look in the mirror tell yourself this will
not happen again in the future and
at the same time forget the past, even
though you own it.
Th casino is doing what it was created
to do.. seperate you from your money
now it’s time for you to do what you
were meant to do and that is be smart
and strong enough to stay away from
that online Heroin.
Bol with your battle.. I hope you
break it!

#46Other then one time i have never deposited just for the casino. Tropicana i did but that was only a casino not sportsbetting. I only tried that because i thought it may be fair since it was sanctioned by NJ . I actually had fair hands at first winning $4000 and then $3500 . Then after that 2nd cash out it was just like any other online casino. And i did just what you said depositing over and over $350 -$900 thinking one of these times i have to get a roll and at least win a few $1000 . But i lost like 90% of the hands losing like $16000 total of my own money in 1 day. i have never gone back in there since. That was the most i ever did in a casino depositing just for the casino. The other places like GTbets, Justbet, etc i go in to use the sports betting but end up going in the casino.Originally posted by El NinoQuit using weasel words like "try" & "thinking about." #47You know that last post got me thinking a little bit more actually brings up a good question maybe something here can answer why i lose control .
So, Tropicana a casino based in NJ online for NJ residents which i am, i played at first and won like $7000 . Then i lost the $16000 which was the most of my own money i ever lost normally i start low build it up in Sportsbook then lose it in casino. Other then that one day when i was in there - I have NEVER gone back nor wanted to to try to get even or win back my cash. Not once. Up until today it has not even been a second though.
So how am i able to keep clear of this (Over a year and a half now) not going back once but keep going into the others. Maybe when i go into the sportsbooks it is for sportsbetting and i just get tempted seeing it and go in? idk But it does make me wonder. And i see the commercials all the time for Betfair in NJ and never get tempted to ry any of them anymore.Comment -

It is funny because when it comes to Sbetting i am really pretty good. My dad even said once (He has since passed but i will never forget this) actually unlike my wife and others who did not like me betting actually told me"You seem to have a gift for picking winners you can actually make a living at it) This was after seeing me hit every baseball game at the Avi that day. So i know although i do not win all the games when i get in a groove i can win some serious cash.
But the casinos are what kills me. If i can maybe ban them all or find a way to make me not want to even look at them (Like Tropicana ) i will be Ok.Comment -

#58I’ve never understood anyone who puts a dollar in online casinos. I’ve made my fair share of tilted gambling mistakes in table games at real casinos, or losing a game on a buzzer beater and mad betting some game at 11pm butthole university vs Dickhead state because it’s the only thing on. But man, online casinos are completely rigged.
Question: you seem like you’re addicted to table games, but don’t speak of playing them while building your roll. For example what is happening during the periods of building your roll up 350 to 16k from sports bets? You’re not playing at all? Have more self control on amounts etc? What you’re doing during these periods may be very importantComment -

In between games i would go in there. I would play the mini games. Although through time the dealer was getting more BJ nd 20s then me the Double Downs were working. If i bet $50 i always lost if i bet $100 way better luck. I probably through going on and off won maybe half in the casino . But when i went in this morning dealer non stop aces showing a lot of BJs . At one point i was doing $2500 a hand and i was getting 2 aces and 11s to DD on but almost all of them missed and the dealer did not have great hands on those ones. It took me hours to get to there and 10 minutes to lose it all.Comment -

So there's more luck involved and less skill involved then your originally thinking. Your regularly visiting casinos, and it's the one blow up that kills you. Sounds like you're addicted to the casino games and the quick thrill. If you can't rationalize that it's a rigged game with absolutely no chance of winning, then I'd say you have to work on completely quitting gambling.Comment -

#64I stick with sports betting 1-2℅ of bankroll. I have all sports books I play at, have their casino blocked. ( Online sports books casinos are rigged after they get to know you). The only other game I play is poker. Online you need a 20-25x bankroll to buy in. Play nl cash. It takes 10 years, but then the raids in the tables are on. Do it that way and you will stop the bust outs. do it any other way,( other then marginal differences) and your gonna bust out.
