Hey, then fade us then if our record is so bad... We are doing well with straight wagers and were one krod blowing save away from a 4 teamer that woulda paid for all our losses itself....

I can accept criticism...and ofcourse am manning up to our record by keeping it in my sig, even tho the 1-9 sucks... the straight wagers are okay tho and if people come in and see our picks, and don't like em as a parlay, hopefully they can get paid by playing our straight wagers. There has prob been many cases like that already and that is Positive enough on its own.

And even me and you had talks about the lakers. Did I or did I not congratulate you on them? I was all over Orl and admitted I was wrong. But ever since they won, you have been diff around here. It's like you felt you earned the right to just talk shit and people can't say anything cuz gee, idk, the Lakers won and now you are exempt from being called out on ur shit.

I will post it by 1pm each game day and it will involve ml, rl and totals. I will post the teams I say will win regrdless of their line at a certain book. Lets see how I do against the PEP thread. 10-90 probably won't cut it given their current pricing and payouts but if they were playing 4 teamers then it might (or 3 team dogs)... I don't know much about baseball parlays... only know the standard 2 team 13-5, 3 team 6 to 1 and 4 team 12 to one on -110 lines

I don't see the harm here. We are looking at a very small sample size, you can't really draw any conclusions about our success or lack thereof. If people don't like it, don't read it. I'm not sure why you're so worked up lakerboy. I enjoy the thread, not because I'm banking on the parlays to hit everyday, but rather because I enjoy the discussion and hope to get better at this stuff.

I could care less about any pissing contest that you want to have lakerboy. Fade us, ridicule us, write the mods and request a ban... do whatever you gotta do. I'm going to keep having fun with it and look for some winners along the way. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, and to those who have been indifferent and let us do our thing.

I like the spirit of what they're trying to do. Although I doubt their picks have +expectancy currently, they might stumble onto something sooner or later.
Remember Mike when you had won some freeplay and had guys make picks? That was cool. I wish it was more successful, but it's fun to do things like this as a team.

Very good point Reno, and i'll never forget losing my money to picks made by someone else that i hated, that's why consensus threads are so hard and why these guys are falling out....because theyve forgotton what a consensus is, but I wish the guys well, the forum is here to provide threads to anyone who wants them and that's the way it should always be.

The success of their strategy has no bearing on the thread. Personally I think its a bad one as well, consensus strategies never work in my opinion, they just tend to get people on the games Vegas wants them on and the mob mentality makes a play seem much stronger than it is, but its their right to discuss what they want and play what they want. Listen dont take this stuff personally.There is nothing innovative about losing. The problem is that you guys take forever to come up with a consensus. Then you as leader take off and the boys are left to jerk off. I only need to win 1 out of my 10 to be successfull and i only do that in nba. The problem is I usually win 3 out of 10 and make a killing. How much time do you need cause youll be out of money before the time issue becomes relevant.
