JJ The goal was an amazing athletic feat. He has great ability and scores goals with regularity, but i wouldnt place him in The Top 10 of all time great players. I think it all depends on what one deems to be the criteria for being "The Greatest ".
To use an analogy from the other Football.......
Jim Brown put up some serious #'s in his short career , but its " Sweetness ", Walter Peyton as #1 for me. Longevity , playing for a very bad Chicago Bears team for many years ( OJ will understand that 1 ). The guy who could have beaten all the records and been considered The Champ, was Barry Sanders. The guy was just fed up with playing for a team that was going nowhere, and they were firm on his honoring his contract.
Pele scored 1281 goals in his career. The next highest total is less then half of that number ( Franz " Bimbo " Binder of the 30's ). Garincha , Puskas , Cruyff , Eusebio , Zidane , Messi,Beckenbauer, Bobby Charlton, Platini........
Ronaldo is a great athlete. He does not make the players around him better. To me , the above list all do.

I have no idea how you can argue it's 'easy' for him. Such goals are far and few between, and you are trying to diminish a genius performance on the biggest stage by saying that.
