Thanks, pi. I wouldn’t have caught that if you didn’t mention it. A mention from Coach is like flopping top set.

Another example of the game of inches: With runners on 1B and 2B and no outs, Matt Kemp hits a piss missle virtually right at the SS.
Dodgers ultimately score no runs in the inning as opposed to a big inning.

The Phillies don’t look too interested in winning this game.
Blue Jays pinging on the machines.

I was actually leaning Marlins in this game. So glad I didn't play it. You owe Kyle Barraclough a gift.

There’s a reason that a team in a FULL rebuild couldn’t move their closer at the deadline for more prospects.
That reason is: he blows.

The game of inches Part 904: Felix has 1 out and bases loaded. He gets the ground ball but it’s INCHES out of reach

Mariners seemed to meet all the contrarian requirements (Felix is trash yet Seattle was decent sized fav, Mariners have brutal Run Differential etc).
But this has felt wrong all the way. No matter the final outcome, risking roughly 4 units on Seattle was incorrect.

Also, listening to the game on MLB At Bat, it sounds like a Blue Jays home game.

I certainly could be wrong, but in my opinion, I don’t believe you make that type of Mariners wager if your Phillies bet was a winner. It looked like a sure loss at the time and I feel that had some influence.
Good luck going foward Lock.

He certainly has been sucking lately. I don't know that he blows though. He has good stuff. His control has always been an issue but has really been a problem lately. I will be interested to see how he does the rest of the year. I didn't hear of the Marlins trying to move him before the deadline. Were they?

If the Marlins are in rebuild mode, I would imagine they tried to sell high on Barraclough. The fact that he’s still on the Marlins (with the demand high for relievers at the deadline) speaks volumes to me.
His last 10 innings pitched have been epically bad.

Certainly agree about the last 10 innings. But he was practically un-hittable for a pretty long stretch during the first half. It wasn't like he just had a good week. I suppose you could be right about the trade or lack there of. Only time will tell. Always enjoy hearing your opinion Lock.
