But I think what you’re not picking up on is that some of these +1.5 plays have been 1 run victories for the side I’m on.

Baseball can be a game of inches at times (a ball just gets by an infielder to score a runner from 2B, a fly ball misses being a HR by a foot because it goes foul etc). The Brewers didn’t win 7-2 last night. The only runner that scored last night (Yelich) got on base via a groundball that barely made it out of the infield.

In addition to that, these +1.5 plays (especially last nights) are partly based on specific adjustments to the line.

I understand the thought of having insurance on the dog. Your wager was looking very safe headed to bottom 9th with a 1-0 lead.

But I think every +1.5 pick has won outright, or lost by more than 2 runs. Don't recall once yet where your dog lost by exactly 1 run.

Not saying it never happens in baseball for a dog to lose by 1. But you seem to pick the dogs that either win, or loses by more than the spread.
