It's very true, the older I get, the more I seem to consolidate my amorous feelings towards the boys. I think a lot of it has to do with the more fundamental lifestyle decisions I've made, being involved in a high-risk industry, not wanting children and not being very social. It's a complex situation, to be sure; compounded by the fact that it's so much easier to find a sexual encounter on gay.com without any strings attached than it is to allow myself to be vulnerable with a woman in order to form an intimate attachment. I miss having female partners, and I miss the part of me that rejoiced in the presence of feminine energy. I wish I knew how to get those things back, but as yet they continue to elude me.
