Hopefully SBR will change this. You’ll have guys taking the rooms but not needing them. The rooms will sit empty.

SBR has prepaid for the rooms, so like with previous events we'd like anyone who signs up to use the rooms (and participate in the events Sam mentioned), so that we avoid penalty. The rooms are nice, enjoy them.

What I am saying is that you can still sign up and register for the event, even though you don't need a room and still take part in all the events. Thus allowing another SBR Pro to take advantage of the free room. So to answer your question, Yes.

Correction to the above statement that I made:
To be able to attend All of the Events Hosted by SBR you will have to be staying at The Golden Nugget. Signed up through the SBR sign up on Friday. If you are staying elsewhere you can only attend the Conference. You will not be able to participate in the Poker Tournament or Dine with us at the dinner.

Edit by SBR: Sam will have a room list from the hotel. Anyone who hypothetically confirmed that they'd be staying at the Nugget, and then no-shows the room, won't be given a nametag and wouldn't be served.

I meant that they will stay at other casinos but sign up for the rooms so they get entry into all events. Not complaining, just stating facts

Yeah, seems kinda crazy. In the past, the thread was posted and it was first-come first-served. Sort of benefited those who frequented the forum rather than those who can mark a calendar and be available at a given moment.

SBR should have held a special poker tourney(s) to qualify.

Always good to hit a store and buy your own as well. You can't just go up to the bar and ask for a drink without paying for it. It took me a couple trips to Vegas before I got real good at taking advantage of the free drinks lol

Gotta agree with Sweep here...

Im a broke fukk for the most part but one lucky strike and BOOM, id book the flight... thing is, I would never claim id go if not sure so I wouldnt do what some PROs are saying NONPRO's do... I mean even if they didnt take 4ever to approve my application I wouldn't try to be in the 50 w freebies. But id love having part in the tourney and the dinner to mingle with everybody at least once...

That said... I'd stay in other hotel and party with whoever is willing outside the barred events
