I'll be honest, he was a nice enough guy but he was losing the plot at the end.

Threads entitled: 'Mr Nicky Is Telling Secrets About Patty' were always destined to end in tears and why he felt the need to come across as a 14-year-old was a question I always wanted to ask him, because for allround knowledge of offshore sports books, he knew his stuff.

Nice enough guy - I wish him well - if he needed the job and he came back to SBR I wouldn't begrudge him - but I can't say I miss him. Too much noise-for-the-sake-of-noise. Not my thing.

I miss the way he kept the forum humming with activity. I'm not saying that it was always the highest quality discussion, but not once since he's left have I looked at Page 1 of Players Talk and found more than a handful of threads that I wanted to read. Back then I would check SBR and it was like a smörgåsbord of delicious drama and petty argument and people discussing the most off-the-wall topics.

Things were just more fun the way BBD run the forum, I felt like we had a larger community. I also miss the way he would intercede in things long before infractions were necessary, although Willie does a good job of doing that as well. I do miss BBD, and wish I would've had the chance to meet him before he departed SBR for greener pastures.

i don't miss him. he was an instigator and always tried to stir trouble with me.


but he was never replaced by a guy that posted at night like him. he was here every night posting 100x, and since he left, who has replaced that job? i noticed willie is a day guy.. VD is hardly at players talk, and i hardly see Genny..

so i guess his job position was never replaced. there is no more mods creating discussions like him anymore..
