Some futures I've been watching

At Pinny, I noticed that the hot dog eatting contest at Nathan's has an over/under of 60.5. I'm on the under for +107. I think they will hit 55, but no tie this year and thus they won't make it to 60.5.

Then this year's Tour De France is starting on the same day. I personally hate the dude, but I see in the head to head matchup Lance Armstrong is +238 against Alberto Contador Valesco. Alberto will probably beat old Lance, especially since Lance has had injuries this year that will likely keep him from top form, but the price is too high. I would also take Cadel Evans +255 against Alberto.

I know that these are sports that no-one cares about, but last years cycling bets turned out pretty good for me.

He ran sub 3:00 marathon only training twice a week.

I'm actually taking old Lance and fading Alberto. Actually Alberto has a very high price on him for just about everybody. I would fade him for Sastra, Valverde (a different dude), Menchov and maybe a few others. If Alberto goes down or better yet gets caught doing roids, which you know someone will like every other year, it will be a clean sweep with +200's odds all over the place.
