Nothing much wrong with that. She did it politely. She didn't work hard for shit, she was elected in. That broad thinks she is more than she really is. In reality she is a corrupt bitch in the senate that thinks she is awesome. General should have told her what was up immediately.

She was in the right but could have went without saying how hard she worked for the title. Could have instead said, "It's not 'Mam', it's Senator''. Would he have addressed any male Senator as 'Sir'? I don't think so.

The only public officials I address by title are Mr. President and "Father" acting in a minister or priest.

            Officer
            Senator
            Congressmen
            Doctor

I'll pass. They are human and are referred to as, pal.

Total bitch, right there. The only time you should correct someone when addressing you is when they pronounce your name wrong or address you disrespectfully. She was called ma'am, but she thinks she special because she's a Senator. Screw her, she was lucky the General didn't call her "bitch-face." I cannot stand people that hide behind titles and form their identity around them.

she was loving the fact that she could get the GENERAL to bark when she wanted

                  he was being respectful

becoming a general is infinitely more difficult that becoming a senator

Just a touch of misogyny in this forum/thread, no? Agree with what Lou said, it was likely a subtle put down from the General referring not to her capacity as a Senator but rather to her status as a woman. He wouldnt have called a male senator "sir", he would have called him "senator." But yeah, lets definitely attack her for asking to be called what every single person with her title is called BY pretty much everyone around them.

She hardly said more than that. Did she need to say she worked hard for it? No, but she also seemed tied and sometimes people say things, although if she took the General as being implicitly sexist it makes sense that shed remind him of her position. Most of the comments in this thread werent of the "it wasnt what she said it was the way she said it", they were of the "fukkin bitch cunt is stupid" variety, which is great for discussion if youre 13 years old.

lou dont start talking out of your ass. it's unbecoming of you. being a ignorant republican shill suits your better.

military protocol advises that officers may use "sir" or "ma'am" when addressing anybody higher than them on the chain of command.
obviously boxer is a clueless bitch and only cares about expressing her contempt of the military.
if anything she doesnt deserve the respect to be called ma'am.

and to answer your question, yes, he has, and so has many other military leaders.

She's a bitch, if she would of just said "please call me senator" that would of been acceptable. Hope everyone that see's her in public starts calling her ma'am just to piss her off in the future.
