    Golf is a gamblers paradise
I have to say, when it comes to random recreational betting, golf is hard to beat from an entertainment standpoint. (For the majors atleast)

    - TV coverage for about 30 hours over 4 days
    - There's always a ton of props to play.(Ex: Hole in one props which make every tee shot on a par 3 meaningful)
    - Round matchups for tons of pairings make following the leaderboard online a great time. There's always lots of matchups that come down to the last hole.
    - Excitement down the stretch on Sunday when you have a player at big odds is almost unparalleled.

It just has so many things working for it that you can't get in other sports.

Golf is the ultimate "trader" sport too, shed loads of turnover on betfair for every single tournament.

More interesting to watch leaderboard than to watch the game

I hate golf weekends. Every fukkin sports channel showing golf or golf highlights. Want to kill myself as a guy spends 5 minutes before a boring, unspectacular shot.

It's not boring at the moment Mathy, I have the leader at 169-1, as posted on this board.

I prefer the 5 min fights at UFC in terms of betting. You place a bet and 5 minutes later you get paid.

I'm really hoping Weir keeps this rolling and breaks out to a decent sized lead after round 1. I have a bunch of bets on outright winners, but Weir represents my biggest payday at about 10 units.

I got 129-1 Weir and 169-1 Fisher. Weir is playing lights out at the moment and Fisher is off to a great start as well. Weir has a putt to go five under.

You're right, Weirs best chance is to ride the way he's playing right now and try to get a nice lead.
