He's won from 10 shots back after 2 rounds before.

The problem here isn't the shot # back. E may win this tourney and he's only +4. The problem is he gets to play his whole 2nd round in the shit when these guys got nice weather.

He's nine shots adrift, admittedly with his second round yet to start. There are too many people ahead of him for them all to drop back, he needs to catch them. The weather is now said to be on the turn, the best conditions are gone, he'd need to shoot -4 or -5 in his second round, - 4 or -5 in his third round and hope he was still close enough to mount a challenge.

It aint happening. He's 5.2-1 on Betfair, which is quite frankly, as ludicrous as prices get.

Put simply, Tiger would have to play the best three rounds of his life on a course and in weather conditions that simply won't permit it.

And bear in mind, the projected cut is currently +6, he's closer to missing the cut than he is qualifying for the final two rounds.

I don't know anything about golf and I appreciate how absurd a price it might be, but he's still the best golf player to ever live and I wouldn't really feel comfortable laying that much against him to accomplish something. He could play the greatest rounds of his life and some people could choke along the way, but he'll most likely not win obviously.

And no @ the bash golf. I'm not nearly good enough. I'll be in the poker though.

The simple truth is, there is no bet concerning Tiger Woods that contains the slightest amount of value, either in backing for or against him. -500 not to win was interesting, -900 isn't.
