I dont know if its because its low season but I really wish I could do something else for a living.

I mean today I was thinking how the phuck am i going to live another 10 years when all my life is pure stress and nervousness and anxiety.

This is all i know how to do and i curse myself for closing my own doors on other stuff years ago.

Watching the dodgers win today made me sit down have a smoke in a dark room and think to myself for the first time .. what the fvck did i do with my life?

I am no example for my kids their dad is a crazy , gambling hooligan that will live of this .

Im tired of riding in this rollercoaster. Im tired of being burned .

I've been stressed in the past but not as serious as you seem to be. I gamble 'cause I like to have fun...I can "afford" to lose 'cause I don't go crazy.

that was by far your best post ever at sbr. you make a lot of sense and it is the truth.. it's no life this shit.. we are NOT normal people. normal people don't go through this stress each day. life is supposed to be normal and live a normal life. this is not a normal life. it's all ups and downs. you win, you lose big.. you win.. you lose big.. it's repetitive each day. it's no way to live a life. how can i ever be a dad one day to my son when he asks me to drive him to his friends house and i dont want to go because i have to put in 2 bets and the cubs game is 3-2 bot 9.. or how can i wake up at 7 am to drive him to school when i went to bed at 4 am after my late game bets?

it's no fukkin life..i can give 894 more examples why gambling is taking away my life and my social life.. i just want to be normal. if i can do this all over again, i would have never made that 1st bet at age 15 or so. i would have went a diff direction. this is NO WAY to live.

Nicky that post comes from the bottom of my heart and with all honesty.

I wish i would have stayed in college , and listen to my mom but the money was to appealing .

It was cool when i was single and the industry was different i was making great money and i felt like a champ.

8 years later , this industry sucks it doesnt leave much $ . I have 2 kids im stressed about providing and being a good dad i love my daughter and son with all my heart and sometimes i get home cranky after a bad day and still try to play with them and be there since im gone 12 hours a day and even then i just think about scores?

I am tired of these fukin athletes roid users deciding my future .

BUT , what do i do ? no other honest job will pay me what this does .

But what is the price?

I have an ulcer , I have high blood pressure I smoke 2 packs a day , i suffer from anxiety attacks and im not even 30 .

I have a decision to make and soon . Maybe i wont make as much but then i think to myself .

I have 2 kids and its worth it to break my back for them , but what if i die so young from stress?

Or is it this me quitting and they will be the affected ones when i cant buy them cool stuff , like i did before?

I dont even drink much anymore this is pure sobriety and me lettinh some stress of my chest.

Well this will be the obvious thing to say but who cares...

You need to stop gambling.

In my opinion, and this will probably go against what all these other addicts think - but once you have a family that you need to provide for - the fun is over. You can't be losing your money on sports.

As you said, being single and all that other fun stuff is good when you don't have responsibilities. Once you bring kids into this world...that's it...time to grow up.

I might catch hell from some of these people here but oh fvckin' well. I think you should seriously stop. I know it's easier said than done but there's programs out there that can help you.

King , once again my problem is not gambling.

My position in the industry is a stressful one i have alot of responsbilties and i am held responsible when others fuk up.

You guys complaint about losing and i complaining that this industry isnt gonna get anybetter and im tired of trying and i became a slave to this.

Again my kids are provided for .

What i am saying is I wish i could get out now , but it seems to late .

Sorry, guy. I guess I didn't understand.

But the overall gambling industry is very stressful - no doubt about that. There's good times and there's bad times. It definitely isn't for everyone.

Sure they may see the thread, but you can also see a preview to a movie and then only wanna see it based on a recommendation from a friend.

As far as why I advertised PEP... Pretty simple.. the guy prob bets big. Guys like this keep gamblin even when they wanna stop. What PEP does, is allow someone like that to slow down a lil. And have some FUN

Maybe it'll ease his stress and keep him betting low, or for fun. I kinda doubt he will just quit cold turkey, so this is an alternative.

I have no prob presenting an alternative solution to heavy gambling. If you have a prob with me doing it, get over it..

You made this thread about you and your smack talk... I merely provided the guy an alternative to gambling heavy. I doubt he is gonna stop, based on some of the threads on here..

If he IS gonna stop. Then more power to him. I def don't want him to keep gambling if it's gonna be detrimental to his family. All I did was provide the guy a POSITIVE alternative to what his normally grind prob is.
