i swear, you dont have to believe me if you dont want, but i already partied with the Stanley Cup.. my childhood pal Sergio Momesso won the cup with the habs back in 86 and he had a bbq in his backyard and i ran with it around carrying it drunk on the street barefoot and all.. it was a great time and i remember it being very hot and humid. great memories indeed.

Pens i dont believe will repeat the champs. They will most likly win it again, just not next year. TO much is going on in the NHL with all the teams.

there's something you boys don't know.. when you hold that cup, you shake like a madman.. i thought i was going to collapse from emotion.. i had no idea this was going to happen, but back in 86 when i held it.. i practically blew up in tears with emotion.. i just thought of the history behind who held that cup.. i thought of Maurice Richard, Jean Beliveau, and of course my idol, Guy Lafleur. i couldn't believe i was holding the same cup that i saw my heros on tv carrying as a child. wow, i still get goosebumps thinking about it. best day of my life by far. a day i will NEVER forget.

when i carried that cup on the street barefeet, there was this guy guarding it hired by the NHL.. he did NOT want me to take it outside on the dirt road.. i begged him and he said ok, but not too far and not to fall, i was drunk of course. after 11 seconds, he told me that's enough and to come back.. he was a cool guy to let me run around with it..

Yes it did Archie...they did the same thing with the cup back in the early 90s when they won it. Brought it in the pool and partied with it...

you're wrong buddy.. we live in montreal.. we live 10 min from the old forum..stanley cup was in display all summer that year in montreal. sergio is a local boy and the NHL allowed him to bring the cup home to his family, as long as it was under strong supervision. some guy came along.. it was perfectly ok.. it wasn't for the day. it was only for 1 hr he was there with it.. he invited like 32 guys to his bbq because he knew we'd all want to see it.
