Nah, I've seen college boys beat him. He just knows shit that most don't. Like who on the 1976 Pistons came out of the locker room picking their nose and pulling their shorts out of their ass crack on the 5th home game of the season.
If it is a straight shot with MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL, it's not that hard. Tough but not impossible.

the show is a joke for the contestants, they tell schwab which topics will be covered beforehand so he has a huge advantage as he can just study certain teams, years, etc.

Live, I don't believe so, I think re-runs are still on during the day between the 65 episodes of SC and 1st and 10.

my boss in my bookie days howard Pash could beat this guy.. pash is a 62 yr old guy today and this guy could tell you every freakin stat of every game in any trivia dating back from the 1940's. i swear, he was a machine. no one could ever stump this guy..
any any any question about nba, nhl, mlb or nfl from 1942 and up, he will know.. we can never stump him. he was good and it's all he lived for.. he was an encyclopedia.

Nicky, ask him where my seats were at the 1968 All-Star Game in Houston and who got the largest ovation in that contest.

i just called him 15 min ago.. he did NOT get the mickey mantle question right, but he did get the exact seats right (the row, the section and all)..i don't know how he knew that, but didn't know the mantle one.

I would expect most of the brokeback fukks that frequent here couldn't carry The Schwab's jock in trivia....
