JJ, I rarely watch the games, I don't see what the big deal is? I put my bets in and go to sleep and then go about my day, I check scores and when I can.... I don't have the big money to bet like a lot of posters do, as you can see it is small amounts but I like the action...

Plomfeld, I am not going to get into my finances or anything on here but let me rephrase what I was saying.. Gambling is nothing but a hobby for me, I use one book only, I don't research shit I just pick games.. I like the action.. I do well financially but I don't waste big money on my sports betting, its not worth it to me, I am a property person and I am all about investing in Property around here.

Illini, gambling on California real estate has to be a rush.

You could be up alot of money then one day the state simply breaks away from America and sinks into the ocean.

Talk about highs and lows.

Plom, I am not sure what prices are up in your neck of the woods.. The great thing about Santa Barbara it is a very desired place to live... Sure the market has been up and down but in Montecito and the really nice parts of SB hasn't been touched at all.. A buddy of mine in 95 bought 3 homes here at the time for 800k put 50k down each and 3 years ago sold them each for 1.9mil give or take..lots of that type of shit going on here.

While there are expensive luxury homes in Toronto most people here live in much less expensive places.

Real estate in Toronto is the second most expensive in Canada behind Vancouver.

I live in a modest house worth about $325K (CAD). I have no mortgage.

Must be nice to have no Mortgage, some of us don't have that kind of Luxury. My association fees are $525.00 per month and my Mortgage is $2,813.11 per month, not including anything else...
