    Just got burried in poker
so im playing at UB with a $2 +.25 entry fee for a tourney with 2500 people, im the chip leader at the final table with 9 people left, 4 people go all in ahead of me and im sitting with AK so i go all in, there's 6 people involved. so the flop comes out A-K-7 so i bet 50k the last guy in the hand goes all in for 65 k, 15 more to me so i call( the pot is now at 405,000). the guy turns over pocket 8's and bury's me on the river with a 8. leaving me with 30k left. i get AA in then ext hand go all in and loose and come in 6th place. $200 not bad but 1st was just over 1100

    tough run

in all honestly I would have folded ak though with 4 all in ahead of me, being the chip leader at the final table

there is no way you are ahead of all 4

    nice cash though

Ditto, with so many guys ahead of you all in you were certain to move up in the money.

I have thrown away high pairs vs big stack raisers when someone close to being eliminated is in the hand, at the final table its less about the cards and more of a strategy to get more cash.

Yes, very unlucky. I agree with the others though, an equity calculation shows that you should fold AK in that spot. It is even correct to fold AA if in a multiway pot against weak opponents when there are significant jumps in payout. Thats the nightmare that is final table low stakes tournies. Nice cash either way.

Well actually the second and 3rd place in chips were involed so if i didnt get into that hand i woulda been at a 2/1 disadvantage but yea it was something i considered.

2:1 to only one person though...

That shouldn't really be a concern. I throw AK away like it's 72o quite often. It's a dreadful hand. You're lucky that with that much action you were still live honestly...
