Goleta, CA-- Detectives arrest a 50-year-old Goleta man who is accused of exposing himself to women answering a Craigslist ad for an in-home caregiver.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Detectives say Glenn Merrill would lure women to his home by advertising his need of a caregiver to help with household chores.

According to the victim, during an interview at Merrill's home she was told he needed help showering because of an injury. He then disrobed, exposing himself and asked the woman to touch him. She refused and left his home.

Further investigation revealed that two other incidents involving women answering caregiver ads had similar experiences upon answering Merrill's ad for a caregiver.

Merrill was arrested last Friday and booked into Santa Barbara County Jail charges of indecent exposure.
