Lamar Hunt Has Just Passed Tonight
Lamar Hunt died about 30 minutes ago at the age of 74.

At least Lamar Hunt did get his dying wish though by bringing a Thanksgiving day game to KC, because he was lobbying the NFL owners since the early 1970's for that game.

Now that we lost two of the old pioneers of the NFL have past in Wellington Mara, and now Lamar Hunt. That only leaving a few old school owners left one being Ralph Wilson, and the Dan Rooney.

    RIP

Very sad to hear but I'm guessing that will definitely give my
Chiefs something to play for on Sunday

Probably doesn't get enough credit for all he did for the game. Truly cared about the game of football and not just the Chiefs.

KC has been a failed organization for years, I would think owners hanging around too long is one reason.

It looks no better either for KC for years to come.

          An organization that goes nowhere.

KC Media has been covering it all day. Granted when someone dies everyone tries to be positive, but best I can tell this guy just loved sports.

Was in Pro Football, Tennis, and US Soccer hall of fames. Doubt anyone else even has two of three.
