Web browser and WIFI.......cellphones

Not exactly sure what the question is, but Wi-Fi allows a phone to connect to a wireless LAN (think local internet connection) instead of going through the cellular network.

As an example, the iPod Touch, which is a phone-less iPhone, can only do Wi-Fi.

A Wi-Fi-capable cell phone's web browser will use whatever connection has been established, whether it's Wi-Fi or cellular.

Your laptop and wireless router use Wi-Fi to communicate.

I use WEP on verizon to check sports scores and such..works okay for what it's worth..ITS FREE, only charges me airtime

Only $100 and it has very favorable reviews.

Anyone have one?

Thinking of getting the LG enVTouch from Verizon..............less then 100 bucks and great reviews. (Low radiation output also).

I completely agree JJ, if someone disagrees about the Iphone they probably don't have one. It is by far the best phone on the Market. I have the Horse Racing application and it is amazing. You can tell a true gambler made the application. The MLB application is the most amazing application ever invented to date. You can listen to every single baseball game, the home or away broadcast...Unreal, it is top notch and I really enjoy it. SBR also did a hell of a job with the version for the Iphone, another top notch thing done by SBR. God Bless

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. MLB At-Bat 2009 is sick. And that's one of MANY apps that blow all others away.

You should see how ridiculously cool WSEX and SBR looks on the iPhone
