I'm glad SBR poker is back! Instead of all the negative bullshit, accent the positive here and make a serious effort to keep it growing. I'm sure SBR and Drew will develop bigger and better prize offerings along the way.... if they see the continued interest.

I personally miss players like Shari, who don't play because of all the hateful shit said at the tables.
Let's bring some respectful etiquette and class back to the game. Support the site and lets play poker!

SBR has never ever listen to what the players here desire. What the players did or not do is related directly to SBR. Poker actually could be great here as for many here have no place else to play. Daily prizes were 8000 betpoints now lowered to 2400. It is not the players ruining poker here.

We don't even ask for betpoints to be added to much of what we desire.

Saturday night tourney should be 1k buy in. We also need some sit n go's. Why remove Omaha during the week? The list is huge!

I definitely agree on the buy in tourneys, Ken, don't know if everybody could handle 1k though, still, pretty easy to adjust the buy in levels. 100 pt buy in, that's a 1000 every 10 topper, payout top 3.

Hell, We've got these points we're blow'in in the casino and sportsbook anyway, so why aren't we running the regular buy ins like we use to on Sat and Sunday? Turnouts were real good and most people can play on weekends.

Really miss do'in the charity tourneys too. Angelmans, Saint Judes, and a host of others.


Maybe Drew can see about getting all those back.

Bigger buy-in tournaments when they can barely get enough people to play the 100 point high roller with massive overlay? Omaha tables all week, when they kill any hold em action during the weekend cause people prefer the easier hi/lo rollover?

It's hard to complain about SBR not giving players what they want when players don't have a good grasp on it either

if anything, get rid of Omaha totally and lets get some poker playing happening, instead of most people just waiting for the weekend to play hi/lo Omaha for half pots to roll points.

Would be better to have a bunch of low buy in tourneys for the weekends, instead of Omaha. We def do not need a 1000 buy in tourney.

Yes, I don't understand this asking for a 1000 point tourney, especially considering i'm pretty sure the person suggesting it would never enter it himself! As I have said, I would be in favor of bringing back the Sunday rebuy. In terms of #s that was clearly the most popular tourney with the players. I agree Sit N Gos were not popular at all, though allowing people to buyin using rollover points somehow might have improved things, as you said - silly to bring those back otherwise given their unpopularity.

Getting rid of omaha, meh. It would probably help if SBR really wanted to stop flipping (would curtail it at least). No question most people prefer omaha since it's easier to rollover there even though hold'em is most people's preferred game. Just a matter of what SBR hopes to accomplish.

I'm one of the few that can't play weekends so miss out on most of the action in poker but S&G for rollover sounds like a good idea for me. Not a big player here but play when I can and don't think I've rolled over a single poker point.

the usual people will play anyway, and when it starts creeping up more and more people with waste a couple hours per week at ring games

after the 1st mention of it, sbr will need to put up whatever amount of points to pay it, but then the only way it goes up is through rake, nothing to do with sbr. and they can collect profits as well like other sites do

I've long been a fan of a 1k buyin tourney, but once a week is way too much. It will be much harder to get going with the reduced points payouts that are coming. Probably would be smart do this once a month during football especially when points are easier to come by.

Omaha is still pretty active, we should keep it, just for that reason. It does spark some big play at the tables, fast when you're trying to complete rollover. Nice to have a bit of variety.

Ill be honest i was at SBR only for poker. I played it when it was +EV for me compared to limits i played at that time. At first i was playing at cash tables and did ok but once i started flipping there was no turning back. There are so many reasons why.

Only way i could spends points i got here was buying sportsbooks bonus. Sadly best option to do that(5dimes) i already had account which was annoying as hell since i like to bet at best odds possible. And in time i started betting to much but that well hopefully is behind me(i made probably only 50 small bets in 2017). With shitty poker promo at least i wont earn any sportsbook cash anytime soon so there wont be any temptations.

But i agree i was freeloader. I came from poker to play poker here for ok free money and it almost destroyed me rolling that money over.

SNGs weren't given enough time to succeed and was on a random day or so. It was given a very short time and I know people said they didn't even know about it running.

Back when they first had SNG I don't believe they had as much traffic as they do now for poker but we had full tables constantly.

Advertise it, run it every day, give it a full month and see how it goes. If it fails after that then do away with it. Don't treat it like a red headed step child you wish would eat tide pod pizza

I agree 100%. It doesn't keep me from playing holdem to rollover points during the week. But holdem gets old as shit when that is the only game you can play most days. I don't want to hear that hi/lo ruins holdem games. What ruins games is allowing two people to sit down and go back and forth to rollover their points without having to face any actual action or take any risk. That is the reason many can't find a game during the week.
