Yes, I understand that. Just seems like one of those things which would be a real improvement both in player experience + helping lessen the amount of flipping. So even if not trivial, just strikes me as one of those "one time things" (will be permanent once it is input) that might really help and thereby could be worth the effort of coding it.

Obviously I don't really know how much it would help or how hard it is to code though - speculating really. Just in general I've sort of always been in favor of making changes which are one time things (i.e. don't require consistent/constant maintenance), especially if they end up being a profound improvement to whatever is in question. Again, just guessing really though about that being so.

I don't know much more than you about the software really Arun. Was probably speculating where I should not have been but Frank asked me directly and felt I had to answer.

It's not up to the mods to check every claim people make. And personally, I genuinely do not care at all about people who want to say they earn more, bet more, win more or have a better house/car/life than reality. Let them if it helps make them happier! Should have no effect on you or me.

And my opinion on tailing is that only one person chooses the amount and clicks bet confirm. Everything is on that persons shoulders for their own choices from there.

If he was obviously trying to cheat anyone, or sell picks, or was even just generally sleazy mods would pay more attention.

Honestly, if SBR moderated the forum as heavily as some of you guys have been asking for I'm pretty sure posters like Rudy and yourself would be yelling the loudest it was bad, and be among the first to leave!

Thanks for SBR forum ( John ,Lou,Sam, and Thur team) I was able to meet great people and good poker players to enjoy the game, but the best part is that is find friend all over the world because of it.
Jake,Opti,matt Paschal, trip d , usphillyguy, chem85, 4uk, beerdog, millertime, siArun, no1here, downsouth, bite, tattady, kidkongolf, and the list can go on and on.
Poker sometimes brings also the worst of people due to frustration, and those need to understand that is just a game, that the passionate people for a few minutes get out of hand, but when people keep going on and on for days, well, they need pshichiatric help.

The reason why I played in maybe 2 tournaments last year is because I thought
it wasnt worth sitting there for over a hour with the low payouts as it was
and that was when it was like 600 for 1st, 350 2nd, 250 3rd and so on
Now look at the payouts daily LOL .... and 50 players so tournaments will take more time
Ouch,ouch and more ouch . If this makes the poker players here happy then kudos
but no way could I play that long in those tournaments for 90 minutes and get my KK cracked by J9 off
and land in 6th for 30 betpoints (that also then needs to be rolled over)

yeah I havent played in a couple years with the stock market going crazy there has been zero time. I was going to dip my toe
back in but the thought of playing for an hour only to come in 9th, when basically bingo starts because of blinds being so high....no thanks

I know its only pizza points but I miss the days when the top 20 got paid. At least you were rewarded with a few pizza points for playing for an hour. Anytime I have won a tourney it took a bunch of bingo going my way late or getting run over with cards in the last 5 hands.

well the tourney costs nothing so maybe just pop in try 5 all ins and if you double up then play or if you dont who cares. Sounds terrible but I dont see how else its worth playing with this structure.

Considering how valuable my time is. and it has gotten much less valuable as I have gotten older, I have always believed that the only way to play SBR tourneys is to take big chances in the hope that I get knocked out early or I get a lucky big stack. The new format just magnifies that strategy for me. btw, put that in your poker notes on me.

Having said that, I do understand why SBR is cutting down on it's poker payouts. It seems to me that when I first went SBR Pro, poker was much more popular, more games going at any time, more players, etc... I am sure SBR has seen these decreasing numbers and are reacting accordingly. I don't know how they can grow poker (maybe they'll just focus on Sports Betting) but I do know that cutting down on payouts and games isn't good for the future of SBR Poker. If SBR Poker isn't growing and bringing in business then it only makes sense for SBR to let poker die and focus on their core competency (90's business consultant buzzword). It's too bad, but I get it.
