Wimbledon Tennis Contest: Out-run a turtle!

Boys here are the rules. I will unleash a turtle on a soccer field and it will race across as fast as it can. Your job will be to also race the same distance. Fastest runner wins $125 first prize. If turtle wins, then noone gets a prize.

Notice that really this contest has nothing to do with the turtle.
