I don't think many of us knew it was a "bad line". As evidenced by me taking -1.5 when you say the line really was +1.5. I was confident Mich St was going to win handily and obviously wasn't checking the current line before I wagered.

As bigjoe stated, I didn't really care if the line was +1.5 or -1.5...I was taking Mich st either way

Meh, that is impractical with so many games going on, especially during college basketball season. Most bad lines in real life are reported by bettors, we are no different (other than players not actually "betting"). And with automatic grading, we usually don't catch it after the fact either. So short of someone checking lines on every single game (do YOU want that job?), we are reliant on posters to report.

there was about 3-4 day stretch was this line varied at several books. How were the players supposed to know the line was bad? What if someone got the game at a pick? Is the line still bad?

SBR Contests adheres to same rules as books unless specifically stated otherwise (i.e. all MLB plays having Action at line taken). There are no exception rules for football.

The "problem" I see here with the above, is "clear and obvious." In my opinion, it sorta wasn't. I had Mich St + 3.5 in another contest at another site and it stood all week and was graded that way. Everyone had a shot at playing the line in question. Just sayin'

Nothing obvious about the error. SBR got its head so far up its own ass it can’t see the forest for the trees.
