#38So if Michigan St. lost by 10 points we would have been stuck with a loss because nobody would have thought to cry "bad line"
SBR top brass needs to get involved here and look at all the facts! SBR should take after Heritage top brass when they always use "commin sense" as the final decision maker!Comment -

#40Whoa. I took Michigan St days ago, including a -2.5 and that’s voided too?
I don’t have a shot to win that contest, but that’s not right.Comment -

#42This line moved late. Washington St opened at -3. MSU closed at -3. We’re just going to wipe the board clean everywhere? Come on.Comment -

#44Ya’ll know I don’t get fired up often. If you want to void the BTP bet due to the supposed bad line, I get it. But to void the game everywhere is weakComment -

#45had MICH ST ML in smaller contest, which would indicate small 1 or 1.5 line. It was voided, doesn't seem right to void the whole game. I'm not crying about a "points" contest or a T shirt, dn't get me wrong. I'm just sayin'. Actually, it will prolly help me as I sit 9th-10th in Prick contest and seems like more were on Mich ST side than Wash St.Comment -

#51I would like to report that heritage had Texas a&m +4.5 and the contest had 3.5. All bets should be void!Comment -

#52What does that even mean? If it is void, it is void across all contests. I mean all contests on SBR Contest platform, none of this has any bearing on the big bowl contest in the forum.Comment -

#53You took a shot betting a team +2 that was really -2. You admitted yourself that you knew teams were flipped, you should have reported it right then and there so that it could have been fixed and all of this could have been avoided. Not to mention knowingly betting a bad line is a bannable offense, although we are not going to that extreme here.Comment -

LT,
The line was correct in the OTHER college bowl contest when it first opened. That was BEFORE last Tuesday when the prick made his plays. I took Mich. St. + 2 1/2 well before Tuesday. A day or two later, but before Tuesday, the teams flipped in the rotation. My bet that was already in, switched from + to - 2 1/2.
The BTP line WAS switched from the get go. When I saw that it was plus 2 in the BTP last evening, I left it alone because it was obviously wrong. Last I checked about 2 hours before kickoff , there were 24 plays on Mich. St . and 7 on Wash. St.
So apparently, when the teams rotation switched, so did all previous bets in the OTHER contest. Please check the other contest and you will see I bet plus and ended up minus. And you will see if you can track a timeline WHEN the rotation switched.
Guess I should have said something but did not. Kind of busy but sorry, I should have.
I completely understand doing what SBR did and would expect no less. It was the fair thing to do for all parties even though it cost me and my play was in a week ago in the other contest.
The sports book was always correct. A player high on the leader board of BTP "COULD" have tried to hedge or middle by getting Wash. St. + 1 1/2 in the sports book and Mich. St. +2 in BTP.
Hope that helps bring some clarity to this.Comment -

#58except that the bad line was hung for a week here and it was decided to be pulled after the game was finished. why was this not being reviewed on sbrs end during the week?Comment -

#59I think it’s bull, but it’s your contest. Someone goofed on a game that was a blowout and everyone pays the price. Fortunately for me, im not going to win the contest so it has minimal impact. Certainly not going to win if the games I actually win keep getting voided.Comment -

#61That is a job for the techies, I will pass it along. If they find a point pre-Beat the Prick where line was right, then the earlier plays will be re-instated. Nothing changes in BTP though as line was already bad by later opening this past Tuesday (after NFL week 16).
Thanks LT !Comment -

If the line was -2 I’m still placing the same bet.
if this line was incorrect all week then someone at SBR is receiving a paycheck for being a moron. But I guess that’s why they work at SBR. Just like you can’t complain about a McDonald’s employee screwing up your order. They work there for a reason.Comment -

#66Real books void as soon as they become aware. There have been occurrences where bad lines were not known until after completion, such as the case here, and they adjust retroactively. Read some of the times this has happened and the "winners" withdraw immediately, leaving then negative balance after adjustment.Comment -

#67Sportsbooks and SBR contests are separate things. I don’t see this anywhere in the contest rules. Common sense should overule everything.
