If you have watched the World Baseball Classic any the past few years, you wouldn't make such ridiculous comments! The Japanese play the game the way it's meant to be played; hard and with pride. Alot of Japanese talent stays at home because they feel they already play in the premier league the world has to offer.

Uh, hes mired in a slump, which happens to hitters every now and then and is still hitting 272, which is right around the league average, so your point really has no basis. Theriot's hittin 280, is showin power this year and has speed on the basepaths, and when your stud third baseman goes down to injury you kind of have to make adjustments, as Fontenot is not meant to be an everyday guy. Should they trade away all their farm talent to bring in some overpaid free agents to stuff into the lineup for a few months?

The real problem with the cubs has nothing to do with the guys you mentioned. You laugh at fuku for the money he's bringing in and yet Soriano's average has dropped to 230, Milton Bradley is both a joke and a disaster, Soto is having a sophomore slump of epic porportions and Lee is a fraction of the hitter he once was.

Next time make a post before the game starts about the pick. It doesn't help anyone knowing who you had and at what line after the game is over ace. I had Twins -1.5 +226 in the Best Bet Thread posted before the game started.
