no collusion charges by mueller is a W for me.
That is absolutely incorrect. There is no way to charge someone for collusion. If they colluded and it can be proven, the charge will be treason or something like that.
Bottom line is, if Mueller doesn’t publicly state that there was no collusion with Russia, you lose.

There is no such thing a “collusion charge”.
Mueller is not a judge in this case, dummy. He doesn’t rule. Closest thing to that is him publicly stating at the end of their investigation that there was no collusion with Russia.

The far left media loved Hilary but it's over and America elected Trump.Originally posted by DABOOKAnd I am showing you that Republican voting states take more than they put in. By percentage there is More Food stamps and government assistance found in Red States than blue. Calling Soros self made makes me a Soros lover ? Hating Trump makes me democrat ? Wow. These are very close minded ways of thinking. I get why you fell for Trump's BS. You don’t know any better. Life is not always black and white. Read more about the history of Trump. Most of you don’t know much about him.
“ The Apprentice “ was fake. He was not a good businessman. He is not charitable. He is not intelligent. He is rich. He got it from His Daddy.

Was Obama a good businessman? Oh wait, he never had a business.
It's not that Americans are closed minded. You had one candidate that has ideas on how to make the country great and one candidate that thought we should do nothing and accept things how they are. The rest of your argument is just noise. One could list just as many negatives about Hilary.Comment -

#473Fighting against what, a source that says that the growth rate from 1931-1940 during the Great Depression (1.54) was greater than the Roaring 20s (1.27) and 1911-1920 (1.28) despite all the WWI spending? You claiming that guy proves you're right?Originally posted by grease lightninWay to keep fighting.
Two points:
1. Right after the data you copied and pasted:
2. Even if one can say that this period experienced more growth than others it is due to the fact that the US was an EMERGING ECONOMY in the early growth stages.
It had nothing to do with the absence of an income tax.
From the same page:

Where we are in terms of economic development has little to do with economic growth. Singapore is much more advanced than China, yet they have much stronger QoQ growth than most places around the globe, including China. There won't be a 100% agreed upon method to calculate GDP, GNP, etc, from back then but most credible sources agree that growth back then was stronger than now. All economies back then were emerging yet despite multiple wars, including a civil war, fought on our soil, America had a stronger economy and higher standard of living for their citizens than did the countries in Europe and Asia. Those European nations had vast networks of colonies and resources to exploit, yet they had less economic growth. The 2 largest empires in history were in that period, the UK and Russia, and they didn't see our growth, nor did Brazil, which has numerous natural resources and a more favorable climate. Finally, the blogger you're using has an admitted Keynesian bias and sees things through that lens.Comment -

I don't think I've ever read Rothbard, although I've read stuff from his acolytes. Most of the economic books I've read come from Nobel Prize winners like Friedman, Hayek, Stigler, Buchanan, Becker, and the son of one, David Friedman. I don’t disagree that the economy would be better off with no income tax. It is tough to say.
The govt puts it back into the economy albeit inefficiently. However, wealthy people hoard where the poor and middle class spend, so who knows.

The wealthy don't hoard at all, at worst they leave it in a bank, where it gets loaned out for houses, cars, business, etc. The wealthy putting that in the banks means that interest rates would be lower, especially without the Fed setting rates.
Why is it silly? We see numerous examples of smaller government causing a rapid rise in the standard of living of the average person contemporaneously. Look at India and the standard of living increase the average people have seen since they've moved away from the Fabian socialist policies of the Nehru-Gandhi family and Congress party and more towards economic freedom championed by Vajpayee, Modi, and the BJP party. Even Manmohan Singh and Narasimha Rao, who were part of the Congress party, recognized that those policies had taken India to the brink of ruin and moved away from them in the early 90s.Comment -

So we can't compare America to other countries or more than America from what, 4 decades earlier? Anything else and we honestly have no clue what will happen if we adopt the same policies? Hong Kong and Singapore adopts very free market policies and goes from 3rd world to 1st world in 30 years, but if America adopts the same policies there's an equal chance we'll go from 1st world to 3rd in 30 years?
