To tip, or not to tip...that is the question

So I've hit a few large wagers recently here in Vegas and while waiting in line to cash the ticket, I've noticed some people tip the counterman with winnings. For us locals, or those who come here regularly, do you regularly tip on winning wagers? If so how much/how often. (Assume you're collecting 1K. How much would you tip?)

Don't know why you would need to tip them, it's all up to you but I wouldn't feel obligated to tip. Would be like tipping your teller at the local bank for cashing in a check you got from BetJamaica after a great month.
