Not really - for the simple reason that the drinking causes certain types to not eat properly. I deal with these stick figure drunks all the time.

But there are the chubbos. When I drank I would not only take in the calories of the drink, I would have my drunken pig-outs. I loved my late night pig-outs.

I don't know what to say about the subject of this thread. Any reputable rehab will have nutritionists on staff and a situation like that would be closely monitored.
