    Can players get in trouble??
Do you guys think the us govt is going to go after players??

someone making credit card deposits into offshore accounts using us bank accounts?? I was always under the impression they are not interested in going after the players but rather the people that make the transactions happen, ie the banks and credit card companies.

should we stop depositing using credit card for time being??

i always laugh when I see this question, not because it's wrong to ask it but because how fuked up can a country be whereby they'll let you go into any store and play the lotto, or let you go to a track or vegas but won't let you do the same thing by pushing a button from your armchair.

        It's so hypocritical it's hilarious.

I'll never understand this either... but what I really don't get is how Alcohol is legal and promoted throughout America while gambling is looked down upon...

last time I checked, gambling didn't kill a family of four driving home from church one Wednesday night...

Poppycock, the weather is nice in Portugal/Spain/Italy/Gibraltar/etc etc. You could easily have moved to one of those countries.

Fat pregnant women are welcome in those countries too.

Maybe you'll go back when you get older and want to live in a country that helps its citizens in their old age.

I have never been to Europe even though I hold a EU passport issued by the Italian Consulate in Toronto, I'm itching to use it in my "homeland".

Mike, flights from Toronto to London Gatwick or Manchester are insanely cheap ($477 round-trip Canadian Dollars), but once in the UK I worry about how expensive everything else will be, I'm used to inexpensive lodging in third world countries.

Would be relatively expensive, there's no real cheap way to do the UK other than to hire a car and take a tent...which wouldn't actually be too bad. Hotels are crazy expensive and the quality of Brit hotels V US hotels is night and day, Brit hotels suck by and large.

The thing you need to remember about Europe Plom is most Brit males have been to half a dozen euro countries half a dozen times by the time they're 25.

To give you an idea, once a month I used to go with friends to paris for a night out. No toothbrush, just the clothes we were in and a pocketful of money.

We'd leave London at 4pm on a Friday on a ticket they used to call 'the party train', and we'd be in be in Paris by 10.00pm, party till 6 and get the train home. ASo Europe is kinda old when you get into your thirties.

Some of the best times of my life were o that train by the way, good times.

I would love to go to Hong Kong, however, 20+hour flights are quite low on my priority list.

Fuk the flight time, you'd only do it once. I went to Japan for the 2002 World Cup soccer and had a crazy flight time and although I'd never go again i was glad I went.

paying money to get lottery tickets = money staying in-state that helps local economy

paying money to offshore casinos and sportsbooks to bet sports and play poker, etc = money going out of the country and HURTS the local economy because vast majority of ppl lose money offshore and it means less money spent at home

                                  economics 101

Economics 102 would be to legalise it to create thousands of jobs onshore.

if millions of people are betting offshore anyway, they've lost the battle, may as well embrace it.
