    Why do we play?
I woke up and thought about this in the morning. Why do we keep coming back to very thing that sucks us dry day in and day out. We'll never win.

why do alcoholics spend 25$ a day buying beer each day when they know they will ruin their livers and die early..? it's called... addiction.

            Addictions feel good.

I like the rush I get from gambling, no other feeling like it.

                      I don't "lose" money. I "shred" it.

Honestly, me personally I don't do it for the loot. I just love the feeling of knowing I am right when my bets win. I feel like all my time and effort actually went somewhere. The problem with me is I never watch the games I bet on until there over. I don't like having the rush when watching. I like it more when im pullin my hair out when i don't know what's going on

I've become so desensitized that I have to have money (big or small) on a game just to be able to watch it. My name is King Revolver and I have a gambling addiction.

But hey, at least I don't do drugs

Well that's only cause it would take funds away from my gambling habit.

Hey, we all got to find meaning somewhere.

I do hate being right about a game and not getting paid. Sometimes I have to put $ on something just so I wont get pissed if it wins.

I can honestly say, recreational gambling is a fun hobby and great way to kick back and watch a couple of games. If people are in this to make money, good luck to them, I'd rather earn a living doing something else and throw some disposable income at gambling. If I win I win, if I dont I dont, I really don't give a fuk.

Life isn't fun without the risk. As John Denver said, some days are diamonds, some days are stones ... and then the guy died in a paper air plane. Life is short. Do what you like.

We play for the challenge and try to beat the games, we play to ease the pain of other problems, we play to hide from the real world and we play for action.

                                          Very few play to win

It's just fun to have a couple of clams on the line because that homer in the bottom of the 9th either really hurt you, or totally made your day

So in a way, we feel the same rush that the players feel... Albeit on a slightly different level

I would say that for many of us, it's a way to remember our childhood dreams of growing up to be pro athletes. But instead of thinking we can actually compete on a professional level, we feel that we can better understand the game on another level.

As a kid, I wanted to grow up and hit towering home runs... As an adult, I want those home runs hit so I can hit on an over lol... Either way, still a rush of excitement!!!
