No the issue is not with liberalism there is actuallly a lot of good values in being a liberal that are very Christian like and of course there are some that are not. The same goes for republican some Christian values and some not. That is why I’m a moderate. Trump and Clinton represent the worst parts of democrat and republican. We need someone who cares for our environment, cares about correct budgets meaning less on military and rework Medicare. It may also mean a small tax increase too for upper class and middle class. We need to rid regulations from people practicing their religion. If people want to pray they should be able to whenever. We do need to support all humans of any sexuality and any sexuality they believe to be. It is not our place to judge that is gods place. Guns should be allowed but we need better regulations around them. Our focus needs to be on renewable energy but be realistic that we still may need to rely some on coal and oil but have plans to greatly reduce our dependence. Health care needs to be reworked. Social security needs to be changed all money needs to start going to a separate account for each American you get what you put in and additional tax to support paying legacy owed for it. If we need to reform education and bring it to latest standards. All Banks and colleges must offer 1% apr loans for students by doing so they will be given tax deductions. Eventually when we become more financially stable we need to do more about higher education. We also need a plan how to address how technology will continue to replace millions of jobs over the next 30 years

Here are more facts, you're more likely to be killed by a knife than an AR-15. I could understand the reasoning behind wanting a handgun ban, since they are responsible for the majority of gun homicides, but banning an AR-15 so you don't have to hear about mass shootings is just self serving.

^^^ No reason for AR15 to be available to the general public. 99.9% of owners wont ever attempt to do anything like this but the ones that do cause mass damage. Since no one seems to know how to get these crazy fukkers to stop killing people for no reason, it makes sense to limit certain weapons. It sucks that we cant have nice things but no one has any damn solutions that I've heard of

Most people in the country are white so it should be expected that 6 or 7 out of every 10 mass killers are white in the US all things being equal. Not sure how many the percentage has been lately but it might be higher than that, and not sure exactly why. A few muslims and asians have been mass shooters recently...hardly any blacks come to mind

My theory is that whites are expected to have the life in the US and the ones that cant make it as white males feel like absolute failures and strike out against society eventually...who knows?

One of the guys that lived across from the church and gave chase and eventually ran the shooter off the road, had grabbed his own AR15 to chase the shooter down. Local news is reporting that he shot the shooter in the neck, if not for this guy, even more lives would have been lost. The hero said that he didn't think about the danger and just had to do the right thing.

Here's a link with a local news interview with one of the heroes that stopped the shooter. When the shooter eventually went off the road, several more guns were found in his vehicle. The killing spree almost certainly would have continued if not for their actions.
