Iam going to vegas next week and will put down a dime on villanova, most of their players are returning and 30-1sounds like a good bet.

plus they have Cheek, Armwood, Waynns (SP?), and Yarou (SP?) coming in. All of which are legit top 50 prospects

Nova has 2 super froshs coming in I think, right? But how quickly can they adapt or maybe not even live up to hype? I guess 30-1 your talking about is worth the shot!

lol Nova>>>Kentucky
Nova doesnt really rely on big men in the offense so the new guys will have time to adjust.

id take Purdue 40:1 or georgetown 40:1. Purdue should be like 10:1 they lost no one and made it to the elite 8 last year

30 to 1 for the best team, bar none, in the best conference in basketball is a steal

Small school like that has no shot in todays game, the big schools will always nip them in the big game due to a bigger and deeper bench.

Being in the toughest conference isn't necessarily beneficial to winning a national championship.

Just take Kentucky at 13 to 1 or whatever they are now and cash your ticket in April

If you're the best team in the best conference in basketball, you shouldn't get 30 to 1 to win the whole thing IMO. GREAT value with Villanova. The idiots pounding UK and UL right now are

which is why they're like 3rd according to Vegas to win it all???? We have 2 senior guards and 2 5 star big men from the 2008 class. Throw in the best motivator of all time in Rick Pitino PLUS a very good x's and o's assistant in Willard and this Cardinal team is still a Final 4 contender at worst

Yes, agree Nova is small school student wise, but are a major player right now in terms of CBB! The 8-9 man rotation was their strongpoint from last year's team! Gonzaga surprises me that they have sustained over the years! Xavier, just will never get over the hump! The Big East is the key and who the coach is! Depaul hires a coach/recruiter and possible success?
IMO the big state schools always will be there year in year out, while smaller schools might have down cycles not being able to recruit as well! With Wright there, Nova should be fine! If I'm around long enough, wonder how Duke will be when Coach K leaves? Could use some better facilities! Dickie V won't be around forever! ACC great, but who knows!

Calipari can recruit, but he is a god damn idiot when it comes to making in-game adjustments.

Listen I know Wayns on a personal level and this kid is ridiculous. Can easily take on any other college player. But he needs to be in control of the game to feel comfortable . The only thing he lacks in height but he can hop out of the building. On offense he does n't play like one of the AND1 guys that just dribble and throw shots like high school players these days. up he actually penetrates the lane and has a vicious jumper. On defense he reminds me of Gary Payton in 96'. Kid should really be a big force in Nova but the only thing that went wrong is he had knee surgery at such a young age but he should be 100% when the season starts.
