Feed yourself and risk fine of not being insured under a government sponsored health plan. Thats offers a moral conundrum does it not?

I like how someone comes up with a post that claims something....I respond by asking where they read that or heard that.....I get no response........And yet people continue to comment on how horrible the president is, and how communist/marxist he is even though all they are commenting is a title to a thread on SBR that has no basis....

got a link to it so I can read it? and what does a bill released by Sen. Kennedy's health committee have to do with Obama?

Kennedy has been trying to pass health reform for forever....that's what he's known for. This is probably the 300th draft bill he's released

Ok so it's 615 pages....which I don't intend to read right now....However it's nothing at all what any actual legislation will look like when finalized....it has nothing to do with the president. And I'd have to see exactly what they mean when they say mandating health insurance...But health insurance is something all people want they just can't afford. Since the point of all of this is to make health insurance affordable once it's affordable why shouldnt it be mandated? Car insurance is mandated. Mandating health insurance would actually drastically reduce the cost of health insurance

I'm not saying that mandating health insurance is a good thing neccessarily. It all depends on how it is structured. But it's deffinately not a bad thing just on the face of it without actually knowing how it all will work you can't say it's good or bad to mandate it.

Here is one example out of a thousand that supports the statement. You are obviously a shill for Obama and its self deprivation on an disgusting level. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0609/23298.html

Give me an example of how a government mandate on healthcare, structured in anyway can or will lower cost. I want numbers and figures supporting such.

Well I dont have those numbers and figures for ya...sorry.

And I never said it would be a good thing. I said it depends on how it's structured. I have no idea how they plan to structure it, but once it comes out I'll read it and see what I think. Also I doubt it will be "mandated" when all is said and done. And finally my main point here is why Obama was ever mentioned in the title to this thread????

Sure he is trying to reform health care, however he didnt write this current draft bill. And if you think health care doesnt need reform then you're not as bright as you seem.

And finally I am not a shill for the president. I will however continue to defend him in matters that I see fit, especially when people call him a marxist or socialist with absolutely no basis. (what he's done to the economy does not qualify, those were extreme manuvers in an extreme situation WHICH BUSH INITIATED BUT NO ONE CALLED HIM SOCIALIST)

Government mandates are socialist by definition. He has mandated a lot of government since taking office. As for the actions of Bush, they are the past and meaningless. Its juvenile to qualify bad behavior with more bad behavior.
