#6Halladay...easily. Greinke seems to have the talent but he's had hot starts before (nothing like this) but still not 100 percent convinced.Comment -

#7Greinke has had a nice 12 games so far this season - and he has had a respectable career to date which is improving nicely - but he would have to sustain excellence over a much longer period of time before he can be considered in the same league as Halladay.
Lifetime numbers:
Greinke 42-47, 3.96 era
Halladay 141-67, 3.46 era
Now if we are just asking what would happen if the Cy Young was awarded today, that would be a different discussion. But if we are comparing overall credentials, Halladay is da man.Comment -

#9I think Greinke will EVENTUALLY be better, but Halladay does more of a track record.
However, if you asked me which pitcher to start my team with, or to pitch THIS YEAR's game 7 of the World Series with, I think I'm gonna have to go with Greinke
Talent has to break through somewhere as it ascends to the top!!

#10halladay for sure, if i had to have one guy to pitch one game right now. much more consistent over the long haul than grienke. that being said, if i were building a team id probably rather have grienke.Comment -

If you watch Grienkie pitch, you will be able to tell that he can't maintain, and getting a little worse
Halladay is consistent
Might have 2 more bad outings at the most, for the rest of the yearComment -

#13Gotta go with Halladay...I am not even sure that I would start a team with Greinke, he has mental issues that could show back up in a heart beat if he starts struggling at some time in his career....I don't like players that are mental cases.Comment -
