My Headphones Sh1t all over your Oakley Shades

They retail at about $300 -- I bought them on Ebay for $250 INCLUDING SHIPPING. There are no better headphones out there...these are it.

    Taken from Amazon...

    It’s All About Sound

Three years of thorough research and development resulted in the most incredible headphone speaker ever built. Beats features highly advanced materials and construction to deliver a new level of audio accuracy and clarity. Combining extra-large speaker drivers and a high-power digital amplifier, Beats delivers an unprecedented combination of super deep bass, smooth undistorted highs, and crystal clear vocals never heard before from headphones.

Less Noise, More Music With Powered Isolation

Today’s digital audio recording technology gives music more detail than ever before. Unfortunately, the details get easily lost in today’s noisy world: on the street, on the bus, on the plane. The best listening experience isn’t just about what you hear, but what you don’t. Monster’s powered isolation technology actively cuts external noise, so you experience all the rich details your favorite artists want you to hear.

    --------------------------

They aren't just for hip-hop music, either. You should hear Jazz and Classical on these things...****in' orgasm. Highly recommended. They get the KingRevolver's Seal of Approval.

Eh, I was kidding. They were talking about 100+ shades in another thread, so I wanted to show off my headphones!

Unbelievable. Huge soundstage and great separation between instruments. I've been rediscovering my whole CD/MP3 collection with these things - you hear tons of stuff that got lost/compressed in cheaper phones.

LOL No shit - I've had the same experience with my headphones. It's like I'm listening to CD's for the very first time! You find yourself listening to sounds that just weren't there before...beautiful.

I guess those look OK if you like the look and all, but they seem too big, and probably make you sweat after wearing for long periods of time. Those headphones are best suited for when you need them, for recreational use I think the kind Matt Rain linked would be more practical and sound just as good.

They're not BIG, and they do make you sweat if you have them on for a couple of hours....they're extremely comfortable though.

And Matt Rain's better sound just as good, they cost 300 bucks for IN-EAR phones! Yikes! I thought mine were expensive...and those are 100 dollars more. The In-Ear version of Monster Beats are 150 bucks. I'm not sure I'd pay 300 for In-Ear headphones, I'm very careless with those types.

These high-end earphones are much better built than the sub-$100 variety... I use these things daily and I'm rough on them too. My last ones were Sonys and they lasted 6 years.

Yeah I've dealing with sub $100 earphones at the moment. Shit just stops working after 3 months and then you get to go buy another pair like a schmuck. Aren't those Shures like over $400??

They can be -- you can find good deals on Ebay. These Monster Beats by Dr. Dre are like 300-340 dollars but I found them on Ebay (brand new) for 250.

I paid $270+$30 shipping on eBay, possibly from an overstock liquidator. Shure's online store sells them for $549.

And I just might try those Monsters. I want regular headphones for the house. Usually listen to music through my Klipsch 2.1 computer speakers, which rock, but the sound stage is much flatter than that of those Shure earphones. I'm spoiled for life cause of these things.

The Monsters will suit you perfectly! You'll end up throwing your Shure's into the garbage! jk

You should hear the bass on these things, NO DISTORTION WHATSOEVER. The bass and treble are the best I've ever heard. The mid-range and all the vocals are just perfect. The construction of the headphones is great too. You won't be disappointed if you buy them.
