    I envy your team, Deuce. It's the best hockey team I remember watching in my lifetime - memories of the early/mid-80's Oilers are a bit faded since I was only 5-6 at the time.

                  i wouldnt count the penguins out just yet.i think detroit knows they dominate at home so they might play tight just so they can clinch with there home fans

                    I disagree, anything is possible in a one game elimination. Just win tonight and get it over with. The home fans can celebrate at the parade.

                          I feel sure both teams will be trying hard tonight. I just hope the home ice trend continues for exactly one more game.

                          That was my team man. You can include the early 70's too. I had the Cournoyer and Dryden posters on my wall. Can't imagine there ever being a team like that in a salary cap league.
