I ****in' hate it. I had the under 7...and everything was going great...then in the 8th (I think) it pushed...then in the 9th the Dback bullpen BLEW THE GAME and the Padres came back to tie it up. Now I really don't care who wins (I'm a Dback fan, but **** them)

would suck to be sweating this out period.... but especially so... if you had Zona, and then they blew that 5 run 9th inning lead.... waited 9 more innings... then lost it entirely.... OUCH

Most innings played? No way it's only 18. Maybe the most in the month of June...but not ever.

They just said...Most Innings All-Time in a game is...

White Sox vs. Brewers - 25 Innings

              May 8, 1984

Took two days to finish according to the announcer, lol, 'cause of the curfew in the American League.

Yea it is 26 innings. They must have been talking about 1 of the teams or something.

The longest American League game, and tied for the longest major league game by innings which ended with one team winning, was a 7-6 victory by the Chicago White Sox over the Milwaukee Brewers in 25 innings, at Comiskey Park in Chicago in 1984.

This is why I love soccer. After extra time there is penalty kicks. No need to worry about beer or hot dogs running out at the ballpark.
