Come around all SBR forum posters for I have a story to tell about one of our own. Yes a fellow SBR member indeed, but also much much more than that. When you list the SBR legends many names come up: jj gold, Nicky, maybe fish, there are many but I will stop there and begin my story.
As many of you know from an earlier post I am engaged. Currently we are trying to pick out a dj so I met one at a local sports bar to discuss the event and watch a little Rangers baseball! The meeting went well and I received a text from one of my friends that they were meeting up at another sports bar down the street. I proceeded to this location and my 2 friends and I continued watching baseball; on this day the beloved rangers fell to the evil yankee empire. As you can probably assume from my presence here at SBR Forums, I am a gambler. The friends that I shared drinks with also bet on baseball. Sometime around the 7th or 8th inning of a pure yankee beatdown of the Texas Rangers one of my friends began to curse continuously. All of us were upset with the Rangers, but his episode went on for too long for it to be just about Texas. I asked him what was wrong to which he replied, ****ing shit dammit bitch ass ****ing vegas dave i dont know why I trail that guy he lost again! I about choked on my Coors (not because its a disgusting beer but because of what he said) Vegas dave? Could it be the one and only I thought to myself?
After choking I calmly said Vegas Dave?? He said yes VEGAS DAVE from SBR Forums.com. I always read his articles and he used to do videos but I guess he got bored with them. I sat stunned as he continued to tell the story of Vegas Dave. It was quite hilarious because I had no idea that he even used SBR Forums. I came home and retold this story to Dave in the chatroom and Dave mailed him a hat which he received today. Signed and autographed by the famous Vegas Dave.
Seems like just yesterday he was just USC kings fan.
