God Bless America and every soldier who risked their life for the safety of our nation. Freedom is not free and we've lost a lot of good people for the right to live in a free country. May we never forget the ones who sacrificed their lives for us and may the troops that are currently in harm's way comeback safe and sound.

The attack on Pearl Harbour was a horrible event and it is absolutely right that it has a special significance for you guys, especially anybody who lost grandparents.
Bear in mind though that WW2 was responsible for taking the lives of (at least) 40 million people the vast majority of whom were just doing their duty or were innocent civilians.
One very interesting footnote to the attack is the subsequent story of the USS Phoenix which was dubbed "the luckiest ship in the Navy".Comment -
