How is Ultimate-Odds Affected by the DragonWager Situation
"No-pay sportbook DragonWager (SBR rating F) is expected to go off-line this weekend. The book’s hosting company, which directly manages Ultimate-Odds (SBR rating C-) and WagerDaily (SBR rating C-), tells SBR that the site will be turned off unless owed players are paid in full and that the book is currently looking for a new host."

I don't understand this. I have an Ultimate-Odds account and how does this affect me? I don't really get the difference between the hosting company and whatever is to be distinguished from that. Somehow the hosting company is telling someone else to pay the players?

The difference is really what is at stake for the book. The host always said it did not stand for Dragon and just provided service. It is similar to a turnkey site hosted by the Sportsbook.com group stiffing everyone, Sportsbook.com players may or may not be scared by that. We have always told operators that they are at least partially responsible and certainly would be if facilitating scam books.

There is no way to know what the real deal is. It's possible for these hosts to pump and dump site and only ever put their name on one brand. The rest of these (Capilleira) sites are said to now be backed by them..for what that's worth.
