Bodog is my number 1 site. Payouts are good and people play well (most). Have a lot of variety.
Whats the best poker site?

#40Pokerstars has any type of game anytime, but all online poker is juiced. You see many more big hands e.g. flushes, straights, and full houses than you ever would live. Bodog has the best freerolls, but a lot of work for small prizes.Comment -

#42Stale, I hear and get your argument, but a lot of strange things happen all the time in online poker that don't happen in live games but occasionally. There's bad players in live games, too. You don't think the software is programmed to encourage people to chase to increase rake? Even when I've dealt practice hands face up to myself seeing all 10 hands you don't see the kind of stuff that happens online.
It always proves to be a futile argument, anyway, b/c when I give some examples the response is it's too small a sample and you saw 2 sets of quads playing live last week, and when I don't give a list of 20,000 hands your argument is won by default. If online proves profitable for you, have at it and more power to you.Comment -

#43I would suggest some alternatives. Pitbull poker is a good one for me. It's a flash poker site meaning you don't need to download any software to play and it's operational systems compatible. YOu can play at LInux, Apple, etc.Comment -

#45Poker stars and fulltilt is the best for high stakes, otherwise u need to be genious to manage to ifnd something in it. For avarege stakes i would offer Bodog or something from ipoker network, like Titan poker. They have good turnout and good guarantees, plus Titan's promotions and loyality tourneys are excellentComment -

#46All of the biggies are fine...Bodog, FTP, PokerStars, etc. You will have good runs and bad runs at any of them, just like everyone else.
STAY AWAY FROM THE SMALLER, STARTUP ROOMS.
Keep in mind that online play is different from brickandmortarcasino play. Essentially, online you need to play a tighter game and live you can play a looser game.Comment -

I play almost exclusively on this network (iPoker), started out playing at Sportsinteraction back in 05 and have since switched to the Centrebet skin on the network.Comment -

#49I really like FullTilt -- better layout than PokerStars and Bodog. Bodog has more fish, but I prefer the better tournaments and more players on FullTilt. I love the number of players on PokerStars, but hate the tournament structures and layout.Comment -

#66bodog software is great if you do multitable a great feature is that you don't need to search thru tables because you just input your criteria and it finds a game for you... still i play pokerstars, good thing is the variety of games, and how fast you can get into a tourneyComment -

#67For the guy who asked, it is a lot easier to win at betting sports than poker. Not to mention with the game constantly evolving and everyone getting better it will be even more difficult to beat poker in a few years, especially online.Comment -
