    Dodgers win again
Won 1-0 last night playing some D and pitching well.

12 games up in the NL west win column.

    Philly's coming up.

    I like the Phillies today.

Dodgers one-up D-backs to claim series win
Casey Blake's sac fly in the sixth inning proved to be enough for Chad Billingsley and the bullpen as the Dodgers shut out the D-backs, 1-0, on Wednesday to take the three-game set.

At the risk if jinxing the Dodgers, they lead the Majors in Batting Avg. with a .284 I believe.

They are playing the best ball in league as of now, but it is a long season and it only takes one bad series, should they make the playoffs, to wipe out a great season.

They haven't won a title since Gibson in 1988, so they need to get one.

It is quite a feat to have your supposed Best player, Ramirez, eligible to return July 3, serving a suspension and playing as well as the Dodgers have since his departure from the team. For argument sake, Let's assume the Dodgers continue to play at such a high level until Manny returns, do you really change anything at that time? Yes, I reckon you do since he is paid so much, but I'd be a little hesitant if I was the Dodger management. The saying about 'don't mess with it if it isn't broke' comes to mind.

ouch, sorry to hear that, Sir.

On a side note the throw from Left field to the plate on the winning run/score by the Dodgers was a great toss to the catcher at home plate.
