I was simply making an observation of the numbers getting tight and the fact I was seeing less dime lines and more 15-20 cent lines which is a huge disadvantage to the player. The reason books do this is to eliminate risk therefore they do not like baseball or make any real money. that is all. Nothing more. You jump to way too many conclusions, all of them dead wrong.

Lol the hold for most books is 6% a year - not a great business and books have been killed this year - did you not notice the Patriots covering every game in the playoffs and Golden State and Cleveland covering almost every game after the first round and most games going over. Running a sportsbook is hard - especially with the rule changes making these games higher scoring every year.

Numbers are getting to a point where it's getting real hard to find value and if I do, I need to jump n real early. Waiting is not good.

Games are not being decided by one run anymore.
Friday (yesterday) 15 game slate, 11 were decided by more than one run.
Thursday, 9 game card, 8 games were decided by more than one run.
Etc. etc. etc.

Pick your spot, if you like a side, consider the run line.
Most lose at baseball because they're chalk eaters.
Don't be afraid to take a -140 road favorite (if you like the side) and turn it into a +120 dog, even though it's still favored to win.
Remember, that road team will always give you a ninth inning at bat, regardless of that the score is after 8 innings.
I don't know how many times that ninth inning at bat sent me to the cashiers window.
